In the past the cell has felt the need to focus more on the people who want to start-up. There are several people in the institute who have expressed an interest in entrepreneurship and who today look towards C-TIDES for help in their entrepreneurial ventures. To cater to them C-TIDES has started a formal programme called Start-up Connect.
A team of students will be connecting with several institute start-ups and will be keeping in touch with them. The team will try and identify students who have ideas, products or designs that can be taken forward as an enterprise and help them in the process of actually starting one. From getting them prototyping facilities and initial funds to getting them office facilities and seed funding the Start-up connect team will act as a facilitator between the entrepreneurs and the enormous resources of the C-TIDES team.
